PTCL Port Forwarding



1 - Port Forwarding - ZTE - ZXDSL 831C11:



Step 1.
Some routers & modems work best with port forwarding if you have a static local IP.
Manually set your network interface card ( NIC ) to use a static ip address (For Tutorial Click Here)...

Open your Default Web browser and input your routers ip address in the address bar.
For PTCL it is 192.168.1.1

Step 3.
Enter the routers password here and click the OK button.
Default Username and Password is "admin"
Username = admin
Password = admin


Step 4.

Once logged into your router click on the "Advanced" link on the top of the page.
Step 5
Once the page loads click the "NAT" link at the left of the page.
Then click the "Virtual Server" link in the middle of the page.



Step 6
Now for "Rule Index" select an empty slot from the list or use the default.
For "Application" use the default.
For "Start Port Number" enter the port number.
For "End Port Number" enter the port number.
Example: Start: 100 End: 200 for a range, OR Start: 100 End: 100 for a single port.
For "Local IP Address" enter the IP address of the computer that you make static e.g "198.168.1.2"
Now click the "Save" button at the bottom.

All done!


2 - Port Forwarding - PTCL Fiber Home AN1020-25


Step 1

Enter the routers password here and click the OK button.

Step 3
Click on Advance Setup



Step 4
Then Click on Nat



Step 5

Click Add

Step 6


For "External Port Start" enter the port number.
For "External Port End" enter the port number.
Example: Start: 100 End: 200 for a range, OR Start: 100 End: 100 for a single port.
For "Local IP Address" enter the IP address of the computer that you make static e.g "198.168.1.2"
Then Press Save/Apply.



All Done!
